Bullhead City Seeking Transit Commissioners
The City of Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (“BATS”).
The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city. The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November and holds special meetings as needed or required.
Two seats on the BATS Commission expire on September 30, 2017. The positions have two-year terms effective October 1, 2017 and expiring on September 30, 2019.
To be eligible, applicants should have a general understanding of the issues addressed by the commission or board seat they are applying for.

Appointments are made by the Bullhead City Council. The City Council will consider applications received prior to September 8th to fill the two 2-year terms at the September 19, 2017, Council meeting. Those submitting applications are encouraged to attend this meeting.
