Bullhead City Council Candidate Nomination Packets are now available

Post Date:10/02/2017

The City of Bullhead City will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two Council Members to fill four-year terms. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 to fill any elected offices that remain unfilled after the Primary Election.

Bullhead City Mayor Tom Brady and Council Member Steven D’Amico are currently serving four-year terms that will expire in November 2018.  Council Member Annette Wegmann is serving a two-year term that also expires in November 2018. She took office in 2016 after running unopposed to fill a vacant position due to the death of former Council Member Mickey McClure.

Interested candidates can find more information on running for local office, compliance requirements, and election filings by downloading the pamphlet entitled “2018 Election Information for Candidates” from www.bullheadcity.com, under “Department Directory,” “City Clerk,” “Elections.”  Paper copies of this document will also be available at City Hall.

If you are interested in picking up a candidate nomination packet, please contact the City Clerk’s office to make an appointment. Please direct questions to Susan Stein, Bullhead City Clerk, at 928-763-9400, Ext. 468, or email sstein@bullheadcity.com.
