The Mission of the Bullhead City Municipal Court is to fulfill judiciary responsibility by providing fair, impartial, and timely administrative justice to all citizens. This court will maintain fair and equal due process through quality professional service to the community. It will maintain efficient standards commensurate with the rapid growth and development of Bullhead City.

Court Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Court maintains all court records and filings, documentation and processing within the City of Bullhead City for the following: civil and criminal traffic violations, misdemeanor violations and petitions for protective orders. The court also appoints legal counsel for the indigent defendant and provides interpreters as necessary for cases filed in City Court.
The Bullhead City Municipal Court does not handle the following: domestic relations, divorces, civil claims, including small claims, passports, marriage licenses, and landlord/tenant issues.
Court mandates are prescribed by state statute, and the administration of the court is further governed by the Arizona Supreme Court. The Court strives to ensure that all defendants, regardless of physical and /or language barriers, are accorded due process by continuing to update interpreter lists and obtain new interpreters for foreign and sign language.
The Presiding Magistrate is charged with the operation of the judicial branch of the Bullhead City government. The administration of the Court is governed by the U.S.and Arizona Constitutions and the Arizona Supreme Court. The jurisdiction of the Court encompasses ordinances enacted by the Mayor and Council and the Arizona Revised Statutes.
