Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports

The Finance Department each year prepares a financial report in accordance with the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). This financial report is called the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The purpose of the CAFR is to give a detailed overview of the City's financial status, including various funds, investments, and debt service obligations.  The report is audited by an independent accounting firm and is composed of three sections: introductory, financial and statistical. Each CAFR covers one fiscal year, which begins July 1 and ends June 30.
