The Police Auxiliary is a group of dedicated volunteers that has been a staple in the Police Department since its inception and provides a variety of services to the community. The Bullhead City Police Auxiliary is always recruiting new members.
Police Auxiliary volunteers are a great group of people who really want to help the community and enjoy working with the Police Department. They volunteer about 5,000 hours a year to the Police Department at no cost to the City.
Duties include administrative work, crime scene perimeter security, evidence transport, traffic control, helping locate missing children, handicap parking detail, boat and street patrol, conducting Police Department tours, public safety community events and police vehicle transport.
Police Auxiliary members must be at least 21 years old, attend mandatory monthly meetings, volunteer a minimum of ten hours per calendar quarter and undergo a background check.
