Per Bullhead City Ordinance, the use of permissible consumer fireworks is only allowed from June 24th through July 6th, and from December 24th through January 3rd.
Fireworks are not permitted in the Colorado River Nature Center.

Therefore, aerial fireworks (including bottle rockets and sky rockets or fireworks that explode) are not legal in the state of Arizona.
What are the laws on child car seats?
In the state of Arizona when riding in a vehicle, all children under five years of age must be properly secured in a child restraint system. Children who are under 8 years old and 4' 9" or shorter must be properly secured in a child restraint system. Click here for more details.
What time do the City Parks close?
City Parks are closed from 11 p.m. - 4:30 a.m.
Colorado River Nature Center is closed from sunset – sunrise.
Do I need a permit to drink alcohol in a City Park or on the beaches?
Beer is now permitted within City parks. As long as it is 40 oz. or under and not in a glass container.
The consumption or possession of beer cannot occur any closer than 100 feet from a youth activity either sponsored or permitted by the city.

How do I report a tip?
To report criminal activity, contact Mohave Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234 or 1(888) 227-8780. Callers may remain anonymous. If you'd like to submit a tip at any time, please email email@example.com. Always call 9-1-1 for crimes that are in progress.
How do I find out if a registered sex offender is living in my neighborhood?
You can visit this helpful website to search for sex offenders living in your neighborhood: Offender Watch
You may also enter any address of interest and sign up to receive alerts if a predator should move near the registered address. You can register addresses of your home, playground, work, daycare, bus stop etc. at no cost. You may also confidentially register to be notified if a specific offender, who you wish to track, moves from their present address.

Where can I safely dispose of expired prescription drugs?
The Bullhead City Police Department now provides an avenue for people who want to safely and anonymously dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications.
The prescription drop-off slot is located on the counter in the Bullhead City Police Department lobby, 1255 Marina Boulevard. Acceptable Items: All expired or unwanted prescription and over the counter medications. Unacceptable Items: Syringes/injectables, intra-venous solutions, liquid products, such as cough syrup, illegal substances such as marijuana or methamphetamines, personal/business mail, plastic containers and general trash items.
I need to get my property back from the Police Department. What do I need to do?

Where can I get my fingerprints taken?
You can come to the Bullhead City Police Department to get your fingerprints done by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. There is a $15 fee and you need to bring your own fingerprint card. Call (928) 763-9200 to schedule an appointment.

How do I find out if someone is in jail?
There is no jail in Bullhead City. Please contact the Mohave County Jail in Kingman at (928) 753-0759.
What are the juvenile curfew hours?
In Bullhead City, curfew hours are as follows:
AGECURFEW HOURSDAYS Under 14 years 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. Every day
Over 14 years, under 18 years Midnight – 5 a.m. Monday – Friday
Over 14 years, under 18 years 1a.m. – 5 a.m. Weekends
