The Planning and Zoning Division office is located in City Hall at 2355 Trane Rd., Bullhead City, AZ  86442.  Planning staff can be reached by calling (928) 763-0123.  Faxes can be sent to (928) 763-0131.
 
The following handouts have been compiled in order to outline the most common type of permit submittals.  All requirements for a specific project type may not be listed.  

 


Attention: 

Fee changes for uses authorized under City Zoning Districts C1, C2, C3, M1 or M2: 

In order to facilitate the development of new or expanded commercial retail and services activity within the City, which the City also considers to include doctor’s offices, professional office building spaces and non-profit establishments, the Bullhead City Council finds that the temporary suspension of certain development building fees to be in the best interests of the City of Bullhead City.  Therefore the Mayor and members of the Bullhead City Council have approved through Resolution 2016R-46 the temporary suspension of the collection of fees in the Comprehensive Fee Schedule, Fiscal Year 2016-2017, for any applications under sections:

  • A3.40.200, Development Services Department, but excluding Abatement Fees under A3.40.210.10 and Board of Appeals applications under A3.40.210.11.Any costs for publication or postage are not suspended;
  • A3.40.225, Engineering Division, but excluding Aerial Mapping/Survey Fees under A3.40.225.04;

  • A3.40.230, Planning and Zoning Division, but excluding Untreated Water/Colorado and Impost Fee under A3.40.230.01 and On-site inspection fee, Non-Compliance, Registration and Maintenance Program for Vacant Properties, Abandoned Shopping Retrieval and Abandoned Shopping Cart Fine under A3.40.230.06. Any costs for publication or postage are not suspended;

  • A3.40.330.02, Finance Department, only for Application fee, Re-application fee and Sewer tap fee under A3.40.330.02; and

which application would result in a use authorized under City Zoning Districts C1, C2, C3, M1 or M2.     

This suspension will remain in effect through June 30, 2017.
