Winter, spring, summer or fall - the City of Bullhead is a city of all seasons.  We are known for our 360 days of sunshine a year that allows numerous outdoor recreation activities year round.

The City is home to the largest tube float, Bullhead City River Regatta, that takes place the second weekend in August of each year, where 30,000 participants float a 2.5 mile stretch of the beautiful Colorado River. In addition to the Colorado River, you also have the opportunity to play on the pristine waters of Lake Mohave that is located approximately fifteen minutes north of the City. With the abundance of water play space on the Colorado River and Lake Mohave, there is a wide variety of activities available.  Another way to enjoy the water's beauty is to relax on the sandy beaches of Community or Rotary Park with warm temperatures making it perfect for picnics, sunbathing or people watching.

Bullhead City also offers other annual events, including the Colorado River Bluegrass Festival, senior and adult softball tournaments, Winter Visitor Expo for our winter visitors, Christmas Parade and Winter Festival.  The City's Recreation Division also hosts many fun, family activities throughout the year.

Whether you are visiting or enjoying the outdoor recreation activities or coming for a special event, you will always find something to do in Bullhead City or the tri-state area.
