Walk Away from Drugs

WAFDnewlogoGet ready to stride with pride for the 8th Annual “Walk Away from Drugs” (and 5K run) on Wednesday, October 22nd, hosted by the Bullhead City Police & Fire Departments during Red Ribbon Week. Walk Away from Drugs FLYER

The Red Ribbon campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program nationwide. The campaign began in 1985 when drug traffickers in Mexico City murdered DEA agent Kiki Camarena. Walkers and runners must abide by traffic signals and stay on the sidewalk. No pre-registration is necessary. The walk and 5K run is free! Medals will be awarded to the 5K first place female, male and under 18 runners.
