Bullhead City, AZ
Home MenuWater Resource Development Fee
The City Council adopted the first water resources fees on September 1, 1998. The fees became effective on December 1, 1998. This is the City’s primary source of funding for the purchase of additional sources of water.
In accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes, the water resources fees are considered a development fee and can only be collected at the time of building permit issuance for new construction. Our city code does allow a developer to pay the fees upfront as part of the subdivision process. The City uses the water resources fees to pay for all costs associated with the holding and/or purchase of the Kingman and Cibola water.
The current water resources fees
- $405 for a single family residence
- $341 for a multiple family residence
- $449 per acre foot or portion thereof for a manufactured home, or park model (based on an engineer’s estimate for commercial and industrial uses)
