Dial-a-Ride Door to Door Service
Bullhead Area Transit System provides a shared-ride,  paratransit service from origin to destination for passengers who are prevented from using the fixed route bus system due to a disability or mobility limitation. 

All rides for pre-approved passengers are $2.00 cash or two coupons for each way and are to be scheduled at least the day before the ride is take place.

Scheduling your Ride

Call 928-704-2287 

Approved Paratransit passengers must schedule rides by calling the Dispatch Office at (928) 704-2287. Passengers may schedule rides for next day service or up to two weeks in advance. For best coordination of services, it is recommended that passengers call during normal business hours and speak to a live Dispatcher. Passengers can speak to a live Dispatcher for reservations during the following hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 7:30am to 3:30pm.  For Calls made outside of the normal Dispatch Office hours of operation, passengers have the ability to leave a phone message for their desired trip.
When scheduling your ride please be prepared to give the dispatcher the following information:

• Name
• Phone Number
• Time and location of pickup
• Address of destination
• Time and location of return trip (if needed)
• Whether or not you will be traveling with a personal care assistant

To help Bullhead Transit maintain prompt and reliable service, please be prepared to board the van anytime during the 30 minute arrival window. Passengers that demonstrate a pattern of "no shows" or late cancellations may be subject to a suspension of service.

Dial-A-Ride Application Process

People interested in applying for paratransit service eligibility may do so by downloading and completing the application form offered below, or by picking up an application packet from Bullhead City Hall located at 2355 Trane Road. As part of the application process Bullhead Transit requires documentation from a licensed medical professional to confirm the presence of a mobility limitation and offer an explanation of how the mobility limitation prevents use of the fixed route bus system. The downloadable application below provides a medical verification form that passengers can utilize for this requirement.
