We need volunteers!

If you enjoy helping others, then we want you! We need help with serving in the dining room and with our congregate meal delivery. The congregate meals is our Meals on Wheels program that delivers meals to home bound persons.

Transportation is one of the top challenges facing Mohave County seniors. More and more seniors are turning to the Volunteer Transportation Program for help. Unfortunately, we simply do not have enough volunteer drivers to meet their needs.

Places our volunteers assist our seniors to accomplish:

• Grocery Stores
• Doctor Appointments
• Senior Center
• Fresh Air
• Social Activities
• Independence

The Bullhead City Crime Victim Services Unit/Crisis Response Unit provides a variety of direct victim services within City limits as well as surrounding rural areas which includes, but is not limited to, on-scene crisis intervention, crisis counseling in person, by phone and email contact, criminal justice support/advocacy, personal advocacy, transportation/child care assistance, assistance with protective orders, legality assessments/safety planning, emergency  financial expenses to cover immediate needs, direct and indirect referrals to other agencies and resources as appropriate, and assistance with Crime Victim Compensation applications.
