LEGAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The City Attorney is appointed by the city council, is responsible for the department and is the legal advisor to the city council, staff, boards and commissions and represents the city in legal proceedings.  Primary duties include the preparation of contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other documents necessary for the proper carrying-out of city functions.
