The Finance Department each year prepares a financial report in accordance with the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). This financial report is called the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The purpose of the ACFR is to give a detailed overview of the City's financial status, including various funds, investments, and debt service obligations. The report is audited by an independent accounting firm and is composed of three sections: introductory, financial and statistical. Each ACFR covers one fiscal year, which begins July 1 and ends June 30.
